Schiavo parents sell supporters’ names

Published 4/1/05

Supporters of Terri Schiavo’s parents are in for a nasty surprise. Get this: The Schiavos sold their names to a direct-marketing firm. Junk mail. Telemarketers. How nice.

To quote The NY Times:

The parents of Terri Schiavo have authorized a conservative direct-mailing firm to sell a list of their financial supporters, making it likely that thousands of strangers moved by her plight will receive a steady stream of solicitations from anti-abortion and conservative groups.

I think the whole reson M. Schiavo told them to pull the plug is because he wanted to get married again and not loose any of his crap so he killed her.

gnomic says:

You are probably right. It couldn’t be that his wife didn’t share her parent’s view of life as pitiful cunck of meat. It couldn’t have been because he chose to believe the doctors who cared for her. It had to have been the money since he turned down several offers to assign guardianship (and thereby fiscal responsibility) to a third party. And the cost of taking a case to the supreme court is SO much cheaper than a divorice. Plus the incentive to stick it to all those people who know that thier God is better than his God and believes everything they do.

Self-delusion and self-rightousness in the name of God.

Please practice your idiocy where it doesn’t interfere with mine.
