Jake Ingod says:

Just when it looks like things cannot get worse for Sony, Freedom-to-Tinker have now discovered that not only does the other DRM used by Sony-BMG, MediaMax from SunnComm, act like Spyware, but the Uninstaller provided by SunnComm, leaves huge security holes.

Doug R. says:

What is going on at Sony? Sony has apparently
institutionalized a corporate culture where:

- Air-play payola is not wrong.
- Forging movie reviews is not wrong.
- Rootkits are not wrong.
- Uninstallers that don’t uninstall, is not wrong.
- Infringing on the copyrights of others, is not wrong.
- Serial lying by senior executives, is not wrong.

Is Sony making these wilfull decisions in order to gain
an unfair advantage? Or; perhaps Sony is simply running
in-place in an effort to keep up with EMI, Warner, etc …
and actually the industry dullard that happened to be
apprehended first?

Is Sony, or the industry as a whole, colluding with the
anti-virus vendors so that the security gaps they install
are not reported to users? (As first reported by C|net;
since pulled by C|net, but living in the Google cache.)
