School justice, part 2

Raise your hands in excitement during graduation, get kicked out.

The school district handbook also states that “students who raise their hands above their waists for any reasons other than receiving the diplomas or shaking hands may be removed from the graduation ceremony.”

Thanks, Eric!

From the article:
“She was twirling in the line,” said Northside ISD spokesman Pascual Gonzalez. “She was waving. She was not acting like she was instructed to.” Gonzalez said that Samantha will eventually receive her diploma.

Yeah, she’ll recieve it after she gets out of line and stops twirling that machete and that double ended club of fire!

Andrew says:

She was not acting like she was instructed to. She vass not following orders! How can we let her graduate if she doesn’t follow orders? (How can you have any pudding if you won’t eat your meat?)

Leland says:

I can only assume the fire works are okay as long as you can lite them without raising your hands.

Talkin’ bout my generation…

Baby Boomers, should be shot for hyprocracy. The drugs and free love turned into the just say no group. The rejected materiality and own 2 homes and 3 beamers..each. They said no to the man and now support wiretapping. The protested the was and now vote warmongers into office. They told thier parents to back off and now are drugging thier kids to act like robots.

Should have drowned the buggers at birth.

this generation would be so much the better for it.

On the other hand, gnomic, many baby boomers can compose a complete sentence. My parents are among those who can. I agree with you about your generation being better for it, though.;)

Chuck Staples says:

Maybe I’m a 40 year old fuddy-duddy, but imagine if all of the folks waiting in line were jumping up and down pumping fists, etc. It rather distracts from your moment when you’re receiving your dimploma. Many of these kids will only experience a graduation once. Why can’t the kids in line show a little respect for the person on stage? That really isn’t so hard, is it? Or maybe they just learned to say “no” to The Man like their parents?…
