And, BTW, note also that the same insanity works the other way round in your neighboorhood. After all, you could be charged with a felony for threatening and/or chasing off the neighboor kids who are throwing rocks at your windows. Ah, for the good old days when the grumpy old granny three doors down kept all us kids in line — and with the parents’ approval!

greyrat, our guy was Mr. Masani, the old guy at the corner. He used to yell at us, or, in the summer, chase us with his hose. Ah, for the good old days. If he was still around, someone would probably sue him.
