The fact that someone is paying to further profit from this crime is beyound my understanding.

If you really want to make a difference, contact the companies that advertise on the show. Tell them you’re disgusted that they did such a thing and that you’ll remember it next time you go to buy a [insert product type here].

And point out that word will spread that “XYZ Corp. sponsored that OJ show.” People will remember.

That’s the only real way to affect things — go straight for the advertisers.

This is another travesty of justice that is a disgrace to both the american people and our legal system. I have gotten over the murder trial, although I still do not know why he got away with it. I think we can thank the wonderful work of the LAPD, along with their over zealous desire to convict O.J. for the not guilty verdict. At the time of his trial our country was facing problems such as the Rodney King beating and the race riots of L.A. which is the excuse people use for letting a murderer go free. However, now more than 10 years after the murders we are still watching him hurt his victims and their families. I know he has protection under the 1st Amendment, but what about protecting the families of Nicole Brown, Ron Goldman, and his children, who will have to spend their days without their mother, brother, sister, etc.. O.J. just sits there with a big grin on his face while everyone else is in such pain because of his actions. If he was truly innocent the last thing he would want to do is make money off of his accusations. I just wish they could find that murder weapon or do something to make the last laugh be on O.J.

Had I been on the Jury, I would have voted guilty as he can be, but we have to let him go on a technical foul. We can thank Det. Mark Fuhrman for clouding the evidence through lies, half truths and prejudice.

In the weeks that followed Sept. 11th several of us were discussing all the “big stories” this event was going to over shadow. O.J. came up, I mentioned the above piece about being guilty and the technical foul. A couple of reporters from LA both jumped in with a “not so fast there.”

They made an excellent case that O. J. may have been covering for his son Jason, from the first marriage. I can’t remember everything that was said on the matter. All of us were way over the sleep deprivation line.

It went something like this:

Jason has been in trouble with the law since he was in his early teens. He was a small time dealer and on occasion acted as Nichole’s coke connection. The points I remember were the glove being too small (Jason is smaller then O. J.), DNA samples from the attacker being close but not an exact match to O.J. (which was blamed on contamination inside the LAPD labs), Jason had full access to the house and the Bronco and at the end of the “slow speed chase” O. J. bailed out of the Bronco and began beating Jason (Why would he do that?).

Both reporters said that immediately after O. J.’s arrest, Jason was spirited away to a lock down drug treatment facility and has not been seen or heard from since then. It was rumored that was done on O. J.’s orders. What ever the reason, it provided a shield between Jason and any police questioning.

I feel for Fred Goldman and the loss of his son. However, his law suit was out of line. O. J. was found not guilty. Not “sort of not guilty” and not even “guilty but we had to let him go on a technical foul.” The travesty of justice that took place during the trial falls squarely on Judge Lance Ito who let the trial become the circus that it was.

But none of this excuses a legal system that allows a man or woman to be found not guilty of a crime and then be sued in civil court for the same crime. The not guilty verdict should be an affirmative defense in any civil action stemming from that accusation.

Maybe O. J. did it and he deserved to have everything he owns taken from him. Maybe he’s guilty of covering for his wayward son and deserves something for obstructing justice. But maybe neither had anything to do with the crime. When you are dealing with illegal drugs your risk for bodily harm rises dramatically.

None of us were there. None of us can honestly say who killed Nichole Simpson and Ron Goldman. The police incompetence in this case forever muddied the waters of objectivity. There are no time machines that would allow us to go back and witness the event.

The legal system found him not guilty. Fred Goldman’s actions amount to nothing more then legalized harassment. If O. J. can make up some of his losses in the law suit with a book, more power to him.

And this is coming from a former “O.J. Deserves a fair trial and a fine hanging” kind of guy. Go figure.

I not only contacted FOX nationally and locally, our local station lists links to all their advertisers and I emailed each and every one of them.

So far this afternoon, I’ve received 3 phone calls and 2 emails ALL of them saying that they will contact our local FOX affiliate and express their displeasure with the potential airing of this CRAP.

You CAN stop this. Get on the phone or email the sponsors of your local FOX affiliate and tell them you WILL boycott them if they don’t pressure FOX to pull this plug on this !!!!

I am new to posting here, so my view may not be valued as much as the rest of yours, but I would like to propose a possible solution to preventing this crap from happening again. We need to amend the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution and take out the double jeapordy part and tweak it to say that if new evidence or a confession comes about after the aquittal, that the accused can once again be put to trial for the crime or crimes that were commited. I am all for us as American citizens being free from injustices, but what about the injustices that OJ is laying upon the families of his victims?

I AM STILL SO AMAZED AND PERPLEXED THAT PEOPLE CAN BLAME MARK FURMAN FOR O.J. BEING CONVICTED. WAKE UP AMERICA. ALL YOU NEED TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER IS STAR STATUS AND ALOT OF MONEY. THINK ABOUT IT. IF OJ WOULD HAVE STILL BEEN THERE HIMSELF WAVING HIS ARMS AND SAID “HEY EVERYONE, HERE I AM, I MURDERED NICOLE AND RON”. HE STILL WOULD HAVE BOUGHT HIS WAY OUT OF THIS.
FACE IT! THAT IS WHAT HE DID. BOUGHT HIS WAY OUT….
BUT NOT WITH EVERYONE. WE ALL KNOW HE IS AS GUILTY AS SIN.
THANK GOD, THERE ARE STILL SOME INTELLIGENT PEOPLE LEFT IN THIS WORLD WHO KNOW WHO THIS MONSTER IS, AND WILL ALWAYS KNOW WHAT HE DID. I AM THRILLED THAT THEY WILL NOT PRINT HIS BOOK AND FOX WILL NOT AIR HIS SHOW.
