The Fray

Miranda says:

That “Mad Molly” character is from some anime… which is why it looks the way it does.

Tony and I have determined that when we do eventually have kids, there will be NO Bratz. Ever. Over my dead body. And his.

Leland says:

It’s not much different from the 3/4 thick Montgomery Wards toy catalog. It used to come out every year around this time. I think if it wasn’t in there, it wasn’t a toy. Vacuforms, Thingmakers, wood burning kits and even mold and paint your own tin (a/k/a lead) soldier kits. There were bicycles, go carts, bb-guns, chemistry sets, electric football games and table top hockey sets. They even had a working toy telephone kit with a cord type switch board. How on earth did the youth of America ever survive the 1950s and 1960s?

I think Sears had a similar catalog as well.

**Sighs**

I used to painstakingly examine each and every page (dolls and girly toys excluded of course) of that most Holy of Christmas books… At least it was to grade school aged kid.

Too bad we all have to grow up and find out about reality.
