This morning when my mother and I left pennsylvania for the Town of O, there was a police officer in the parking lot of my apartment building. We somehow ended up chatting, and he asked us where we were off to shop. And, oh yeah, it was 4 am! The crazies in this world…

Andrew, you misspelled “Maul.”

I’ve always found these Christian rituals odd. We kill a tree to celebrate Jesus Birth. What’s up with that? Are they made at the cross? I’d think a hammer burning might be more appropriate.

We then make ourselves miserable shopping (and more miserable with the bills come) buying something that the person is likely to return anyway. I haven’t quite squared that with Jess’s message of taking care of the poor, unless the idea is to become one of them.

I’ve given up on the Christians - they somehow thing making gays second-class citizens is part of their religion. Apparently reading the Bible (especially the words of Jesus) isn’t part of their dogma.
