Thank GOD!

He could be interested, and think what that would mean.

Wanda Kidd says:

The longer he stays on vacation the better.

Anything he gets involved in, only gets worse! His actions so far, have a lot to do with eveything that’s happening now!

Just think of how things would be different all over the world, if we had a true leader of dipolmacy in the Whitehouse.

Anybody know what the total vacation day count is for him? All the articles I could find only went through 2005.

Andrew says:

According to the Houston Chronicle this past August:

On Thursday, Bush left for a weekend in Kennebunkport, Maine, and his family’s summer compound, Walker’s Point. On Monday, he heads to his Crawford retreat, where he has spent all or part of 418 days of his presidency, according to Mark Knoller, a CBS News White House correspondent and meticulous record-keeper.

“…[T]he presidential vacation-time record holder is the late Ronald Reagan, who tallied 436 days in his two terms. At 418 days, and with 17 months to go in his presidency, Bush is going to beat that easily.”

And the Washington Post noted in 2003 that Bush had, at the time, spent 27 percent of his presidency on vacation.

Randy says:

Yes, he spends a lot of time on vacation. But do you *REALLY* want him presiding more than he already does? How much worse off would we be? Personally, I think he needs to take more vacation days.
