When I first heard it, I couldn’t remember whether Eliot Spitzer was a Democrat or Republican. Then I saw that he had been with adult women and I knew he was a Democrat.
G’night everybody, tip your waitresses, you’ve been great….

See, just shows how liberals think. You have levels to your “wrongs”. I could not recall if he were D or R and for most of the first two days no news report I saw or read gave it. You know, that little (D) or (R) they always put with the name. Funny how the liberal media works. Had he been an R it would have been top story bold print headed….”ANOTHER REPUBLICAN SEX SCANDAL!” So what do you have to say about the race in the Democrat camp? And I’m not talking of the BID for the nomination either.
Ah yes, one of the three sound bites in the repub toolbox: “Liberal media! Brawwwwwk! Liberal media! 9/11! Brawwwwwwk! Threat to security! Brawwwwwk!”
Spare me.
In case you forgot, it was that oh-so-liberal New York Times that broke the Spitzer story. (It was the right-wing papers like the Post that complained about the sex scandal one day then went back to selling sex the next — typical repub hypocrisy.
And how convenient it is to simply make up the headline that “would have been” and then complain about what you just made up!
Go back to taking your meds and watching Faux News. No one missed the sex scandal. It was on every channel and news program. And no one missed the party affiliations.
Had this been a Republicain, Faux news would have labeled him a (d) like they did with McCain, Craig, and Vitter.
The real shame of this scandal is that it overshadowed Fallon’s resignation/firing that is foreshadowing the idiot in chief starting another war or getting more troops killed needlessly in Iraq with another surge. I guess a failing economy isn’t enough and increasing war costs from $12B/month to who know what makes more sense to this mental midget.
Spitzer? Who cares? Except people who think keeps score for whose dog stinks less is somehow important. Its not like the guy is torturing people, spying on people, ignoring the constitution and the laws, or getting people killed.
