Verizon Wireless and the iPhone

Vodafone reached an agreement with Apple and will begin selling the iPhone in Australia, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Greece, Italy, India, Portugal, New Zealand, South Africa, and Turkey.

“So what?” I hear you say.

What’s interesting is that Verizon Wireless is half owned by Vodafone.

So iPhone users here, tired of the lousy AT&T service, may have a light at the end of the tunnel….
