I write my stories to entertain (me or anyone else), not to make some huge political or social statement. They're supposed to be fun, nothing more. Enjoy.

One Man's Treasure

The latest. Written for Jeff Marks's collection, Magnolias and Mayhem. Four friends go on a hunt for buried treasure....

Hap

A wrong number leads to an interesting conversation. This is one of my favorites because it's short and to the point -- a vignette.

In The Cards

A deck of tarot cards that works -- in unexpected ways. This is my first good story, written (originally) back when I was about 19. I've revised it a few times since then, but not much. I like it.

Charmed, I'm Sure

One man's trash... is something entirely different to one woman; sort of a prequel to In the Cards. I was in my Twilight Zone-esque phase then. Still am, sometimes.

Judgement Call

Reporter on a college paper learns something about an administrator. My best to date; I wrote it a few years after I graduated. It's based, for the most part, on a true story.
