Astronomers from the European Southern Observatory have found the closest black hole to Earth. (And no, it’s not the soul of your ex.)

It’s in there somewhere.

It’s about 1,000 light years away, and — if you happen to be south of the equator, you can see it with the naked eye. Well, you can see the other stars in its system. The black hole is, you know, black.
